Project Engineer / August Christensen

Hi there! My name is August and I am a registered Professional Engineer here at Westwood. Since starting at Westwood, my job responsibilities have varied over a wide range of projects; from residential and commercial projects at the beginning of my career, to my current focus performing civil services for renewable energies such as wind and solar.

On the job, I help to develop effective, efficient designs and produce quality work to benefit our clients. I gain satisfaction by taking ownership of the projects I work on and by making sure we deliver a quality finished project. My daily tasks vary. I assist with micrositing of wind turbine generators, turbine access road design, delivery vehicle routing analysis, electrical underground routing, and pollution prevention design, just to name a few.

I am proud to be part of a company that can diversify itself with the different markets available. I enjoy the professional, friendly, and responsive environment here, both with my project team and our clients, and look forward to future opportunities at Westwood.
