ETG provides highly accurate and scalable geo-referenced aerial-based photo imagery and Digital Terrain Model (DTM) data to clients across the nation. On a global scale, ETG is currently conducting photogrammetric surveys of 600 kilometers of road alignments in Afghanistan. A sampling of our projects and products follow.
ETG provided high-resolution (0.4’ and 0.85’ pixel) ortho-corrected imagery of downtown Des Moines to support the Polk County Assessor by identifying real properties needing re-assessment. This was the first of its kind for Polk County. As a result, local municipalities, utilities, and engineering firms contracted ETG for further development of 2’ topographic data to be used in civil design, land development, flood rating studies, sewer drainage studies, and other uses. The work included data-updates over a 3-year span.
ETG provided Psomas Engineering with aerial mapping services for the 2002 Los Angeles Union Station project. The resulting product was used for railroad track re-alignments, run-throughs, and fly-overs, and included 0.2’ pixel Scale-Accurate Digital Imagery (SADI) and 1’ digital terrain models.
The Public Utility District utilized ETG’s digital orthographic mapping services as a cost-effective solution for a transmission uprating project in Chelan County, Washington. Services included the delivery of color, high-resolution (0.5’ pixel) Scale-Accurate Digital Imagery (SADI) and PLS-CADD Digital Terrain Model (DTM) data, including points on conductor.
ETG provided digital orthographic mapping services to McClure to use as a base for the design of the Polk City Golf Course. The resulting product included a color, high-resolution (0.4’ pixel) Scale-Accurate Digital Image (SADI) and 2’ topographic map, as well as a follow-up as-built record with the delivery of a color, high-resolution (0.5’ pixel) 3D stereo image.
Tri-State’s New Mexico transmission project utilized ETG’s services to deliver 3D stereo, Scale-Accurate Digital Imagery (SADI) and PLS-CADD Digital Terrain Modeling (DTM) data. A dam at Elephant Butte Lake that controls the waterway to the Caballo Reservoir was the focus for data retrieval.
