Our Experience
Westwood entered the wind energy industry in 1997 by providing land surveying services to wind farms in southwestern Minnesota. Westwood’s contribution to those successful projects was the first step toward a decade of assisting top wind developers throughout the country. Westwood understands the wind development process, fast-paced schedules, and the risks to be avoided.
As wind energy has become the fastest growing form of power generation, we have persisted in enhancing our personnel, technology, and processes to deliver the best possible services. We take ownership of our contribution to the project and work to ensure that all possible efficiencies are realized, best practices are followed, and schedules are met. Westwood offers services at every stage of a project’s development, from GIS constraint mapping and site screening through post-construction as-built surveying.
