Westwood understood the many site constraints and encumbrances associated with the redevelopment process. Westwood’s team provided solutions of Chesapeake’s Retail Center that included a creative site layout to maximize land use around existing utilities and easements; the design of an underground stormwater treatment system to further increase buildable area; research to determine the most efficient route and design for expanding sanitary sewer needs and utilization of the existing private sewer system to minimize project costs.
