Land and Energy GIS
GIS plays a pivotal role in Westwood’s land and energy sectors.  We analyze the factors that could make or break a project to let our clients know what they are up against.  From the early stages of planning through post completion monitoring, GIS is the tool which provides for competent strategic decision-making, at our desktop or our clients’.  When coupled with Westwood’s aerial mapping, survey, and CAD capabilities, we efficiently produce geospatial products to support decision-making processes.

GIS Team & Technology
Since 1996, Westwood has grown to include a GIS team consisting of technicians, specialists, programmers, and designers who collectively share over 60 years of experience. The cumulative knowledge of our diverse staff allows for a multi-disciplinary approach to each project. This creates efficiencies and isolates constraints and possibilities that otherwise might not have been discovered. Our staff has worked in the majority of the industries that we service, including all levels of government. This experience allows us insight into what the client’s needs actually are, and how to best go about addressing them when working with the public sector.
