Wetland responsibilities will include:

• initial desktop-level research (off-site hydrology/photo review, soils, topography and wetland mapping)
• routine wetland delineations across the country
• report preparation
• regulatory meetings and federal and state wetland permitting/pre-construction notification processes
• wetland monitoring

Phase I ESA responsibilities will include:

• assessing properties under ASTM E1527
• conducting records review of historic data sources
• conducting field reconnaissance
• report preparation

• Site Engineering design of utility scale wind, solar projects and battery storage.• Engineering design includes: array grading, road grading, road plan and profile, turbine pad grading, facility grading, stormwater crossing design, cross sections, erosion control plans, utility crossing, and storm water management facilities • Due diligence and site investigation• Quantity take-offs and cost estimates• Preparation of specifications and details• Preparation of permit applications• Construction administration• Design and production in AutoCAD Civil 3D software• Day-to-day support in developing the engineering design and plan production of renewable projects.• Other duties as assigned by the Lead Engineer.

• Prepare proposals and cost estimates for geotechnical investigations and related design work.
• Participate in geotechnical site investigations, assign geotechnical laboratory tests, analyze field and lab data, and prepare investigation reports.
• Interpret and analyze geotechnical data to establish type, classification and engineering characteristics of materials.
• Complete geotechnical engineering analyses including, but not limited to, seepage, slope stability, bearing capacity, settlement, rotational stiffness, and liquefaction.
• Manage, supervise, mentor, and train other geotechnical staff.

• Participate in geotechnical site investigations, coordination with drilling subcontractor, assignment and assessment of geotechnical laboratory tests, preparation of investigation reports, and application of site data to analyses and design.
• Review and report laboratory test results. Assist with laboratory test development, process improvements, and supervision of laboratory activities.
• Interpret and analyze geotechnical data to establish type, classification and engineering characteristics of materials. Complete or assist with geotechnical engineering analyses including, but not limited to, seepage, slope stability, bearing capacity, rotational stiffness, liquefaction, and settlement analyses.
• Keep management advised of work status, workload, problems and progress as related to work assignments.
• Participate in preparation of proposals, bid documents and capital cost estimates, construction drawings and design reports.

• Computer aided design and drafting of all engineering products and deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineers and other drafters to correct discrepancies in drawings and designs.

• Demonstrates basic knowledge and understanding of NESC, ASCE and IEEE standards necessary to design distribution lines.• Performs all aspects of designing high voltage overhead distribution line projects including but not limited to: PLS-Cadd modeling, line routing, structural analysis and design, hardware selection, conductor selection, material specifications, and technical support during construction.• Plans and design overhead distribution lines, including right of way requirements, line configurations, hardware requirements, and structure alternatives. • Prepares and reviews design documents for construction, including construction plan drawings, work location notes, bill of materials and permitting/ROW documentation.• Designs projects under the mentoring and training of senior licensed professionals.• Keenly focused on production of high-quality work and supports continuous improvement efforts. • Understands client interests and develops approaches to accommodate these concerns in the performance of the work. • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects. • Demonstrates ability to work with limited supervision and guidance to execute and meet multiple project commitments.• Understands & meets schedule, and quality requirements. • Actively coordinates with internal and external team members on distribution line projects.• Attends client technical review meetings.• Travel to project sites as necessary to gather data and interface with clients.

Work as a key member of a water/wastewater design team under the direction of various Project Managers. Job duties may include, but are not limited to: • Work with a team in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for projects of various size and complexity• Prepare plan documents and supporting design calculations• Prepare detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D• Produce high quality work and implement and maintain quality assurance procedures• Oversee the technical aspects of various projects• Coordinate with other disciplines, support services and subconsultants• Coordinate with government agencies, utility providers or other outside agencies• Coordinate with Clients depending on project role.• Identify applicable codes, standards or other design requirements• Prepare technical specifications and cost estimates• Perform field reviews and other assessments for use in design• Participate in contract bidding, provide limited observation during construction, review submittals and RFIs• Represent clients and firm in meetings with governmental agencies• Develop and track milestones to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery• Make decisions independently in regard to various issues and methods• Mentor, train and/or supervise the work of less experienced engineers and/or technical support personnel• Prioritize and manage own workload and manage junior staff's work• Ensures division, regional, and company values, policies and practices are consistently followed within the survey service.• Lead by example – display solid judgment, good values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism.

• Work under the lead of a Supervising Engineer with a team of other Engineering Technicians to complete projects for multiple clients across the U.S. • Willingness to travel to project sites, as necessary, to interface with clients, gather data, perform inspections, and return to the office to perform engineering design work.• Perform certain aspects of Power Delivery Design, (One-Calls, DOT and municipality permitting, right-of-way requests, procurement assistance, and lower-level design activities.)• Develop an understanding of each deliverable necessary for the project at hand. Including, but not limited to, construction plan drawings, work location notes, bill of materials and permitting/ROW documentation. • Be involved in internal/external reviews of designs completed prior to final submission.
